Bonang joins fight against poverty in new doccie-series

South African media personality Bonang Matheba has joined a star-studded line-up for a documentary series aimed at highlighting campaigns that are driving change for poorest people in the world.

The six-part documentary Activate is sponsored by Proctor & Gamble and will be produced by Radical Media LLC, and officially air on National Geographic later in 2019.

The doccie-series will take viewers on a journey to learn more about the root causes of extreme poverty and how several stakeholders including activists and institutions are making a lasting change in the lives of millions of people in the world.

Stars including Matheba, Usher, Pharrell Williams, Hugh Jackman and Gayle King will be featured in the documentary.
