Mzansi television personality and entrepreneur Mzwandile Ngubeni is officially the new host of Love Back, as the show returns for its fifth season tonight on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) at 20:00 CAT.
Straight from his stint on The River where he portrayed a delusional love-struck character Elvis Baloyi, Mzwandile Ngubeni is digging deep into communities and relationships in hopes “try to fix the nation one couple at a time through love” on the popular relationship show that gives people a chance to try everything in their power to get a former lover back in their lives.
“Love Back is in line with my personal ethos and purpose on why I do television and it’s all about nation-building and making sure that we have a more united nation through love and open communication,” said Mzwandile.
Mzwandile returns on local screens after a short stint on soapie The River, which marked his return from a five-year hiatus since he last played Vuyo Vilakazi in eTV drama Umlilo.
His television career stems from way back in 1994 as a presenter on a youth infotainment talk show Word Power that was broadcast on TV2.
Over the years he has steered his career diversely from presenting shows, award ceremonies to acting in soapies, local dramas, and feature film.
His experience also includes skills as a voice-over artist, motivational speaker, event host, and organisational facilitator and is also a business owner of Mazothe Media – a company that uses different platforms such as radio, audiovisual and industrial theatre to create innovative marketing opportunities for businesses while also offering executive facilitation.
Watch Mzwandile Ngubeni help couples across South Africa regain their love through open conversation and relationship guidance on Love Back every Tuesday at 20:00 CAT only on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161).
