OLX spreads love to homeless people on Valentine’s Day

Leading Marketplace company, OLX South Africa, continues its drive to improve the livelihoods of people and they consistently do it in the most thoughtful ways.

Whether it is through providing people with the most effective platform for buying and selling goods at reasonable prices or giving to those who are less fortunate, OLX continues to prove that they have everybody’s best interest at heart.

The OLX family took it upon themselves to spread love to those who needed it the most on Valentine’s Day. Over 100 cupcakes and warm coffee were served to homeless people in BoKaap, in Cape Town, on Valentine’s Day.

OLX South Africa has been consistently spreading love and giving back to the less fortunate over the years. In July last year, the company hosted a Street Store at The Haven Night Shelter.

Through the Street Store (a rent-free, premises-free, free “pop-up clothing store for the homeless”), OLX SA was able to rally donations from those who could give, while providing a dignified way for those in need to shop.

This was an act of kindness done on Mandela Day for the less fortunate. “We intend to do more in future as we continue to spread love and give to those in need,” says Nicole Depene-Sander, Marketing Manager at OLX South Africa.

OLX is calling on all South Africans to continue spreading love to those who need it the most.
