From chubby legs and rosy lips to sweet smiles and squishy cheeks; it’s no wonder new moms can’t resist sharing photographs of their bundle of joy.
And now, thanks to the Upper Highway Baby Home, they not only have an opportunity to share their endearing snaps, but also have the power to harness their baby’s cuteness for good!
No stranger to the charms of babydom, the Upper Highway Baby Home (UHBH), the non-profit organisation that takes care of orphaned and abandoned babies until they find their forever homes, recently launched a Lockdown Baby Photo Competition.
But, according to the Founder of The Upper Highway Baby Home (UHBH), Gary Stanton, this competition is unlike any other. “We’ve decided to ask the public to send in their baby pictures, regardless of how old the ‘baby’ is now”.
Stanton says that it’s an opportunity to look through old photos and reminisce of times gone by. “Lockdown has been tough on all of us and gives individuals a chance to look back on happy memories whilst supporting the home and of course standing a chance to win R5000!”
To enter, individuals can go to the Upper Highway Baby Home Facebook page.
Entry fee is R200 per entrant for the first photo submission and R100 per photo thereafter.
The competition has already launched and closes on 31 August 2020.
The wining photo will be announced on 1 September 2020.
“The picture with most likes wins, so share, share, share!” Gary concludes.
